Hobbit Video Blog

Has anyone been following The Hobbit production videos?

Here is the latest one (number 4), which focuses on some of the 3D technology they are using (they have a LOT of cameras at their disposal)

    watched the first blog. Thats a lot of cameras. 5k resolution 3D and filming in 48 frames. This should be interesting to see when it comes out.

    Watching that blog just makes me want to make a film!Very exciting to watch!!

    Amazing to see how the make up had to be changed to suit the frame rate.James Cameron used Sony cams for Avatar- i wonder how the technology differs? Cineworld glasses do not work on the 3D artwork which is shown lol, they need to be those old school ones, yes i tried them on....o well...
