  1. PAUL! This has not got anything to do with CIQ's, but I need to tell you anyway. Recently I've sent you an email informing you of my UCAS referance, being you. Hopefully you should have an email by UCAS castinbg you for the referance. So please tell me if or when you have done it so that I can send my form in as soon as possible!
    Thankyou, Robert Markland.

  3. As its all going on here....ill add to that. We have talked to the UCAS advisor at college and he has said its ok to be a little late (but not too late) because you wasn't in college recently. But i need to talk to you about a reference and my personal statement. It's important I get the application sent off asap :)
    Thank you,
    Josh

  4. if your applying either through the college or UCAS i will receive an email asking me for a reference.

You shouldn't have to ask me for a reference prior to submitting your UCAS application.

Once you have submitted your UCAS application then i will be asked for a reference.

Rob - iv'e had no email

    Alex - see above

Josh - see above and speak to Lindsay about Personal Statement. Did the UCAS advisor at college say you needed a reference before you submitted? If it is then this is a new approach. As far as i'm aware nothing has changed - you may want to speak to him again.

Please post CIQ comments here today

  6. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

Doing my work. I knew I had a lot to get through and was really determined to just do as much as I could, finishing two assignments for Lindsay today that I should have already done.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

    Never really.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

I asked Josh a few questions about the website and he helped me as much as I could.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

I've not found anything confusing today. I knew what I had to do and just got on with it.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

How quickly I can get work done when feeling determined. I was quite stressed about falling behind, and so obviously this spurred me on to work quicker. If only I felt this determined all the time!

  7. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

I was filming today so was very focused on the task in hand.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

Having batteries with no power made me feel more stressed, i felt unprofessional at some points today.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

Being trusted to complete 2 interviews by Mark. Hopefully the footage is good, fingers crossed.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

Batteries being low again when on a shoot...do we need to get more batteries and chargers with doing these projects? just a thought.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

That some people need to be told how to do everything. It was a pity as i thought this person would of been more on the ball and have some energy. I didnt see it today - it would of been more helpful as today was a busy day.
