  2. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

Watching back everyone's zombie footage, as we all took part and it was really fun watching it all back.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

When Final Cut Pro decided it hated me and some unconverted files. My sequence settings were wrong and so it kept adding a black frame every so often and drove me mad. Mark said I needed to move it all to a new timeline and this just took me out of what I was into editing completely. It's all because one person didn't convert their footage and it just distanced me from editing the project completely.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

Mark helping me with the problems I had on Final Cut.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

I've not found anything confusing today really.

The littlest problem can just completely take you out of the mind-set you're in, trying to create something through editing.

  3.  1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

While editing our film I was most engaged the soundtrack I had imagined for the film perfectly.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening ?

I found having maths and the fire talk in the morning wasted a big part of the day that could have been spent on more important things.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

Having mark suggest changing the style to accommodate for our lack of  clips helped advance the film and create a reasonable result from a lack of footage.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

The lack of footage was a bit confusing there needed to be a larger range of camera angels to sell our film.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

I was surprised that the film turned out so well with all the odds against us .

Watching the footage from the zombie film. It was so funny! Im still waiting to hear when the next group movie will be planned! It was good to watch the movie on in the background too- it was crazy! That baby was more scary then The Excorsist!(Even though it did take me away from my work.)

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

My computer is on overload with footage I had to wait for a computer become free.It was time wasted really. Then I had a problem with another Mac as Final Cut was not on it.The talk by The fire brigade man was not the best.He only knew one word which was knob head.I did inform him of this on his review sheet.I was dreaming of my Mac and what I need to edit all the way through that talk. I understand the importance but if he kept it shorter it would of been better. I was annoyed my footage has no sound too.But i have a plan to resolve it hopefully.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

Paul went through my progress review and I got a few things sorted in terms of trying to get on top of my work done as I have been busy doing a lot of filming so I am more concerned about completing projects and getting pre-production docs in motion as they are on my mind.

Mark showed me how to convert my footage again as the setting on the footage was different.I just panic and get in a twist when things change with settings etc. Sometimes i feel a bit daft.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

In general it Would be nice to see other members of the class actual start a project through from filming to edit. Its unfair to film and then leave it to others to complete. If your going to commit try and finish it.

That i sometimes get easily distracted and I feel like i have wasted a day and I could of done more. I need to get more done next week!
