when Hassan and Myself had to go film some locations for the heritage project. Also when I helped Nick with some heritage edits.

I didnt feel distant today as i had to do a lot of work today.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
When Nick showed me how to use Final Cut X on his Mac Book Pro. I noticed its quite similar to the Final Cut that i've done all my projects from this course.
4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?
Nothing really puzzled me today apart from how to use Final Cut X when i was helping Nick with his heritage edits.

1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?
Editing and discussing editing and the decisions to be made for the heritage edit.
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
We just worked to complete the heritage project today and at no point felt distanced.

Discussing my edit with Angela go help me make important decisions.

At no point really.

Nothing really. Shocked at how we have two days left on heritage and that people were still doing other assignments but apart from that, nothing.

When lindsay was running through the film work today and telling me what needs to be included

Nothing really puzzled me today

1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?
Just cracking on with my Amy edit - I feel like I've accomplished a lot, and the edit has really come along - so I'm proud of myself.
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
Waiting for things to render is never fun, but I had various things to do in the mean time.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
Alex helped me with my Macbook today... Josh was helpful having next to me, just to have as a second opinion on colour grading or the length of a shot, etc, and Mark helped me a lot with feedback on the edit later on in the day - little things that could be fixed easily but I may not have noticed before.
4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?
Why anyone would touch a camera's lens! Finger prints and smudges aren't a good look.
5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)
Some people in this class continue to surprise me.

Editing my Heritage edit, nearly done!
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
My hard drive disconnecting, as a couple of times my media was OFFLINE! it was annoying.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
Im glad that that the project is being delegated regardless if people are happy or not. Takes a load off.

We are second year and some people ask stupid questions which they should know by now.
