I was engaged as soon as I got in class because we were making our Die hard remake. Kate explained how to create our own bullet wounds and what products you can use.She explained everything very well, it was alot of fun! I totally was engaged in filming our remake, a great day!

If anyone was distanced today in our class I think they must of been in the wrong class. Today was epic!

Kate was so helpful in explaining the process to make our own wounds. Kate and Mark were excited in remaking Die Hard so that was affirming because I love projects like these and get so excited! It was nice to hear feedback about Eriks visit yesterday and that he enjoyed our chat. He has gaven me a kick up the backside!

Today was alot of fun and some people were not in so missed it.

Our group had so much fun filming. Matt looked wicked as Hans and played the role so well as did john. The fact Kate and Mark joined in made it so much more fun. I was surprised when kate fell to the ground in her death scene, was so good, one minute she was there the next on the floor! I enjoyed putting a wound on Angela, I think she secretly enjoyed it. Its not often people get cameos in a Dreamteam Production...

Playing with the plasticine was very fun, and apparently my wounds looked good, so I was pleased :)
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
After lunch, I couldn't get stuck into anything as I had to leave at 2, but nothing could be done about it.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
Kate was really helpful with everything yesterday. Everything we were learning was brand new to us, and I understood everything and got stuck in.

Nothing really.

I managed to get some good results (I thought) from the plasticine and the liquid latex, which was really good :)

When we were shooting our own versions of "Die Hard". It was amazing and i loved every moment of it.

When we were putting make-up on the actors for the filming. It seemed to go on longer than it should've done.

When Andy helped us out during the shooting of our version of Die Hard. We had a few crew members missing so he stepped in for a minor role.

When Kate was on about the "ageing" make-up. It seemed complicated and it was irritating to get it off afterwards.

When i saw that we were doing our own versions of Die Hard. I was suprised because i thought we were working on other projects. but it was a nice suprise.

what suprised me is how much better making die hard was compared to the zombie film we made a few weeks ago. this was so much fun and even mark and kate got involved and died in the film, everyone did really awesome and i reckon this film iis gonna being epic!

1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening? Listening on how to make low budget wounds and how to sculpt them. That was really interesting and i think its something i can use in the future.

Watching the filming take place and planning for die hard, our group was not really together and we got confused a lot with no direction and most scenes took ages to film because everyone wanted it perfect and forgot to have fun except the time where andy fell off the table

I was most engaged while filming yesterday as we were doing good filming practice.

While everyone was putting make up on I was most distanced as I was filming so I was trying to help with little success.
