CIQ Wednesday 9th May 2012

    Watching the Seven Year Itch


    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

    The internet is running so slow..are hamsters in a wheel providing the power?


    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

    We are going to manchester to view the locations, which will obviously be critical to the film.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

    None today, which makes a change.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

    Everyone seemed to enjoy the film, I rather enjoyed it, was funny.

    When watching the film the seven year itch.

    I did not feel distanced today. The discussion was helpful and the film was very enjoyable.

    When Lindsay was discussing the theory of stardom with us, it helped me to understand it better.


    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

    Why Heritage keeps coming back to me, i can't get rid of the H word lol.

    Nothing surprised me today.

  3. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

    When we were watching the film, i really enjoyed the film and it was really interesting to watch a Marylin Monroe film :) like in the discussion it's interesting that we see her as a star, an icon, an idol, However, not many of us in the class had seen any of her work.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

    I didn't really feel distanced today as the whole lesson was engaging


    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
    When Lyndsey went through the theory of stardom. It became more simple and i understood it a lot better than i previously did.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

    Nothing was confusing today.


    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)
    How much i enjoyed the film :)
