  1. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

Watching Rebel Without A Cause as I tried to book it out yesterday evening and could not as "someone" had booked it out...ha ha I enjoyed watching it as I think James Dean was a great actor, it was worth the wait.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

Louis disappointment to find there was no Lindsay, it did not stop him from walking past the screen...dear oh dear Louis :)

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

That all of us are expected to come into college to get the show done, if we all can muck in it will be great and a good laugh. Im looking forward to it.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

Louis,he can talk to anyone, as long as he gets to walk past the screen.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

How interested I am in the films made in the 1950`s. It bodes well as I was named after James Dean by my dad, I figure he must of thought he was a great actor too.
It was good to hear that a student code name "Rambo" passed his driving test, congrats.

I'd not seen Rebel Without a Cause before, and thought it was really good. I'll be hunting out James Dean's other few films he starred in, very impressed. :)

Again there was only a few of us discussing or even watching the film - I appreciate people have lots of theory work to catch up with though.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

The few of us who watched the film had a good conversation with Stuart about the film, James Dean and star theory, etc.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

I attempted to understand Laura Mulvey's Visual Pleasures essay and was frequently confused. I understood a fair bit, and I know it's above the level I'm working at currently, so I guess I'll come to understand it eventually.

Amy's named after James Dean - how cool is that?
