  2. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

Hearing everyone else's ideas for manchester so i know what type of ideas other people want to make. i like discussing ideas because then i know if i am on the right track with something and if its worth developing further

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

Editing the heritage video because the sound would not match up with the video and it was very stressful just trying to sync up the the sound and its stressful trying to get it as good as the others who have been doing their edits since the start of the project and mine won't be as good.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

Getting input from tutors about ideas on not just manchester but on the your film festival ideas though i'm not very good at describing my ideas they did not criticize hugely on the ideas we gave and tried to look at the positives instead of all the negatives.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

Not much really, i got on with my work and they were there to help if i needed help or input which is good

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

Hearing that not a lot of people had ideas for manchester yet because this is a really good opportunity and it's nice to hear what other people want to do and if we don't all get that input it might make trying to decide and idea and script take a long time.

  3. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?
When we were all talking about ideas for both projects, I found it really interesting to find out what people came up with and I did really like some of the ideas put forward.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
When final cut wasn't responding, or taking a long time to load. It can get frustrating as its slows down the computer and productivity

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
I just got on with my work today to be honest. Didn't really ask for help with others.

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.
Nothing surprising happened to be honest, but I was interested to find out about the 'exam conditions' to part of an assignment.

Editing Heritage as there is lots to do on my edit.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

I switched on when listening to a few ideas about the trip, I think that was due to talking about one idea for a while.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

Mark helping with my edit today.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

Some ideas were very far fetched for Manchester, I think green screen is needed for some of them!

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

How I really find it hard to talk about my ideas in front of others. Sometimes I find this can cloud what I really want to say. I just naturally find it hard i guess. Also I can get a lot done if i don't talk. Shocking i know.

    1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?

Hearing people's ideas is always interesting - to see how people come up with such different ideas.

    2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?

I've not been very engaged today. It's nobody's fault but my own, I could have done more work.

    3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?

I was a bit self-conscious about my idea, but Mark convinced me that if I like it I should make it. Everybody needs encouragement sometimes.

    4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?

    Paul talking about Condorman!

    5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)

If we get scripts written up for the ideas people had for Manchester, I think there could be some definite potential with some of the ideas :)
