1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?
I felt most engaged today when watching the film.
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
I felt distanced today when i was asked to go to the canteen as i missed part of the film and was confused with what was happening in the story when i came back.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
I found it helpful when Lindsay went through the new assignments with us so i know what i need to do for them. I also found it helpful when talking with Angela about the new music for the heritage project. By having 10 new tracks to the 4 i had last week it will give more variety to the edit.
4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?
i did not find anything confusing today only why was there a massive queue people in the cafe??
5. What about the class this week surprised you the most? (This could be something about your own reactions to what went on, or something that someone did, or anything else that occurs to you.)
I was surprised at what happened to Ian Curtis s character in the film even though i knew already what happened to him, it was a powerful ending to the film
Visual. 1. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most engaged with what was happening?
I really enjoyed watching Control. It was on my "must see" list so glad I was able to watch it.The film dealt with emotions, and I feel are always more powerful. The end was more powerful, even though we did not visibly see it.Also how Ian`s life is dictated to him by his Epilepsy and what he endured. I was shocked he was only 23.
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening?
I had to leave quickly so missed a small part of the film but I soon caught up with what had gone on when i returned. Was good to see G-Man as hes not been in college for a while.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful?
Even though i have already done my film studies unit i still want to discuss films as Lindsay makes a good debate in class, its good to hear other viewpoints. Mark sorting out the Inspire Application, I am grateful he is sorting it out.
4. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find the most confusing puzzling?
Louis, Louis, Lewis, why oh why on a Wednesday? I think we should all resort to barricading the door :) Then again he`ll pop through the window...like Spiderman....

I enjoy watching films from around the 70s as it makes me reflect on one of my own film ideas. I love the feel of British Films and the thoughts that they provoke, as they are not glossy and raw which is a style I like.
